Game Machinery

The in game machinery is incredible in the modeling and detail. The growth mechanics are excellent, and very realistic for a video game. For some people this might be too much. For me? I grew up farming in real life. And did every single job you can do in the game by the time I was 15 or so, including calculating fertilizer rates. So it’s not actually that hard.

They have active soil deformation and wetness. Yes, you can get stuck. Like, really really stuck. So don’t work your fields when there is an inch of water laying on the surface lol. The weather is really cool, looks good, based on Central Germany (ish), so the growing season is pretty long. Multiple cuts of hay per year etc. The task system ( helpers) is a lot different than FS. Works pretty good, a little fussy. They work on it non stop. A couple of the developers were the ones who gave us CoursePlay. It’s in a solidly playable state right now, and will only get better.
